Welcome to The Grand Ballroom

Welcome to The Grand Ballroom, Canada’s largest ballroom dancing studio and one of the most unique facilities in the world. Located in South Richmond, B.C. near Steveston Hwy and No. 5 Road, The Grand Ballroom has been operated by the husband and wife team of Andy and Wendy Wong since April 1994. In that time, it has evolved into the leading dance school in Greater Vancouver and is the measuring stick by which all other dance schools in BC, and indeed in Canada, are compared.
The Grand Ballroom features a very innovative program of ongoing group classes from Beginners to Gold Star levels seven days a week, casual and fun social dancing parties every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night and fabulous world-class showcase of ballroom dancing twice a year. The ‘Grand’ is a 13,000 sq ft custom-built studio comprised of a 5,000 square-foot dance floor surrounded by a luxurious seating area for 350 patrons. A state-of-the-art sound, lighting, and air-conditioning system provides first-class comfort, ambience, and superb sound quality. The Grand Ballroom is a smoke-free and alcohol-free facility. It is every student’s and social dancer’s dream facility.
