Dancing with the Richmond Stars
March 3, 2012
The Richmond Community Hospice Foundation will be hosting a fundraising event called “Dancing with the Richmond Stars” on Saturday March 3, 2012 at the Grand Ballroom. The Hospice Foundation provides funding for the Richmond Hospice Association, a non-profit society that provides support to those at end of life, their families and loved ones. In support of this great charity event, Andy and Wendy has donated The Grand Ballroom as the host venue. In addition, Andy has organized five professionals to pair with 5 local celebrities to perform on this evening. All of the professionals will be donating their time to train their celebrities.
This semiformal evening will consist of dinner, dance competition, judges comments, audience voting for ‘best performance of the night’, professional dance showcases and dancing for all to cap off the evening.

UBC Dance Club 50th Anniversary Gala Ball

Each year, The Grand Ballroom is the host venue for the UBC Dance Club Gala Ball featuring the BC Open Amateur Championships. This year is especially important in that it will be the 50th anniversary celebration of this fabulous event. Country Hoedown and Pot Luck Night
